Welcome to Maison Ô Kiwis!
Air-conditioned guest rooms and air-conditioned gîte in the Lot. Close to the Dordogne and Corrèze.Surrounded by the most beautiful villages such as Martel, Rocamadour, Collongues la Rouge...The tranquility of the countryside is perfect for a stay with family, friends or lovers.I welcome you in this old house completely renovated, air conditioning for pleasant nights, but also new bedding, free wifi, private bathrooms...A vast garden.A former florist, I will share my passion for flowers with you.Kiwifruit arbours cover the terraces, where you can enjoy your breakfast or just cool off.At "La Maison Ô Kiwis" you can relax and unwind, but you can also taste products made with love, such as homemade jam made from kiwifruit, figs and mirabelle plums, as well as crêpes for young and old alike, crumbles, etc.
Who am I?
My first name is Christine.
After working as a florist for over 30 years in the Pas-de-Calais region of France.
I decided to change my life in 2017.I chose to change my life in 2017, to move to the countryside, to be closer to nature but above all to enjoy its benefits.
After my first visit to this house in April 2017, I fell under its charm and that of its garden.A former hotel and restaurant built in 1885.
Then guest rooms.
I arrived in April 2019 after having ceased my activity.
But once I'd put my bags down, I realised that I was going to have to do some major work. With the help of craftsmen, the electrician, plasterer, air-conditioner and plumber...
I wanted to keep the existing volumes and restore the wooden floors.
A real challenge😉.
The plastering, painting, wallpapering and decorating of each room were all done by me, to my great delight.
The result was there more than a year later.
The adventure began in July 2020.As soon as you arrive, you'll be charmed by the beauty of my fully enclosed garden.
All you have to do is put down your suitcases.
An arbour of kiwis covers the terraces of this space, where you can have your homemade breakfasts or just find a little coolness.
I think you'll be charmed by my garden.
I've totally restructured it.
Its calm and beauty reign supreme, like the promise of the escapes offered by the surrounding area.It's the perfect place for anyone looking to combine serenity and authenticity in a lush natural setting.
I remain at your disposal should you have any needs or questions.
